Obituary Hanspeter Söllner-Tripp
In deep mourning and with great respect for his achievements in life, we bid farewell to our long-time managing director
Hanspeter Söllner-Tripp
who passed away on May 16th, 2021 at the age of 68 after a grave illness.
As managing director and link of the Tripp family, Mr. Söllner-Tripp significantly advanced the development of the etol company group in Oppenau and Oberkirch for more than three decades and decisively shaped it with his signature. He was a passionate entrepreneur, strategist, initiator and visionary. His management style was characterized by straightforwardness, a high level of expertise and a distinctive will to take decisions. His constant listening to the concerns of his employees and his good empathy made him a particularly personable supervisor. He was a great leader and philanthropist at the same time. He lived his profession with great passion and a great sense of responsibility. Because of this, Mr. Söllner-Tripp was always held in high regard and respect by his colleagues, employees and business partners.
With Hanspeter Söllner-Tripp, we have lost a successful entrepreneur and a remarkable person whose approachable and sympathetic manner will always be remembered.
We will keep Hanspeter Söllner-Tripp in honored memory.

Our polyurethane production has taken on new forms
The successful expansion of the main plant in Oppenau has moved on to the next level – intensive production with new production machines has recently been started.
As standard, products with a clamping surface up to 2100 mm (W) x 1300 mm (D) and a tool weight up to 3,000 kg can be manufactured. Flexible clamping systems also allow the use of third-party tools.

Using the latest plant technology, the technical parts made of compact foam can already be coloured during the manufacturing process. Depending on the requirements of the moulded part, this process step can eliminate the necessity of repainting.
Freely programmable pressure and swivel angles ensure the best possible output with reliable quality. The process documentation ensures reproducibility and repeatability, which can be documented and traced.
The new machinery also offers our employees optimal conditions and an ergonomic workplace design to maintain production and quality at the highest level on a long-term basis.
etol donates disinfectant to Offenburg and Freiburg Hospital
Disinfectants are rare in many places in times of the corona crisis. Therefore, the etol group donated 672 half-litre bottles of hand disinfectant to the University Hospital in Freiburg on 20th April 2020. The same amount had already been donated to the Offenburg Hospital one week before.
The hand disinfectant was produced in the Oberkirch plant at the beginning of April – the local facilities are normally used for the production of oral care products, the plant was quickly restructured to include disinfectants.

the worldwide spread of the novel coronavirus also occupies us at etol. The detailed measures of the Federal Government have led to many restrictions for social life as well as for the economy.
The companies etol Eberhard Tripp GmbH and etol Health Care and Pharmaceutical Products GmbH have already taken comprehensive precautions in February to protect the health of all employees and their families as well as customers and business partners, to secure the production and supply capability of the companies. All measures are constantly adapted to the dynamic course of the pandemic in order to be able to react as agile as possible.
- External and internal appointments take place almost exclusively by telephone or video call and all business trips are reduced to a minimum.
For appointments, especially in the service area, which have to take place in person, we adhere to strict rules of hygiene and conduct. - Restrictions on visits to our company premises by external persons have been introduced. In general, stricter access regulations are currently in force for the various company areas.
- Implementation of different working models. The home office option has been expanded and new shift models have been introduced in production, logistics and administration to ensure that employees have limited contact and to safeguard production and delivery capacity.
The support of our customers, partners and suppliers is guaranteed by these measures and our teams are still available for you.
Our employees are happy to advise and support you by telephone or e-mail, our offices are still manned during the known opening hours of 8:00 – 16:00, our production and logistics are running.
